18ways provides localisation infrastructure and translation services for software applications and websites.

The platform enables automated translation workflows, context-aware translation processing, and tools that allow translations to be reviewed and improved by human translators.

Accounts

To use certain features of the service you may need to create an account.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the security of your account
• ensuring account information is accurate
• all activity that occurs under your account

You must be 18 years or older to use the service.

Free and Paid Plans

18ways offers both free and paid plans.

Some paid plans may include a 30-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Billing and Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

Fees are billed in advance according to the subscription plan selected.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of the service.

Usage Limits and Fair Use

Use of the service must comply with the limits of the subscription plan selected.

Customers agree not to use the service in a way that unreasonably interferes with the platform, degrades service performance for other users, or bypasses plan limitations.

We may suspend or restrict usage where fair use limits are exceeded.

Customer Content

Customers retain ownership of all content submitted to the service.

By submitting content to 18ways, you grant Ways Labs Ltd a limited licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights and permissions to process any content submitted to the platform.

18ways stores translated content for caching and performance purposes. Cached translations may be retained for up to 30 days since their most recent usage, after which they may be automatically deleted.

Translation Accuracy

18ways uses machine translation and AI-assisted systems to generate translations.

The platform is designed to support context-aware translation workflows and human review processes that improve translation quality.

However, automated translations may contain errors, and customers remain responsible for reviewing translations before relying on them in production environments.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the service
• interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
• use the service for unlawful purposes
• attempt to bypass usage limits or security controls
• resell or redistribute the service without permission

Service Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific uptime levels.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ways Labs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.

The total liability of Ways Labs Ltd for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the total fees paid by the customer for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if:

• these Terms are violated
• payment obligations are not met
• usage exceeds fair use limits
• use of the service poses a security or operational risk

Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings.

Publicity

Unless otherwise agreed, Ways Labs Ltd may identify customers as users of the service and may use customer names or logos in marketing materials or customer lists.

Customers may request removal at any time.

Changes to the Service

We may update or modify the service from time to time in order to improve functionality, security, or performance.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
